Average salary increased in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2025 /Kabar/. The average monthly nominal wage per worker in Kyrgyzstan, excluding small businesses, amounted to 42,648 soms in January–August 2025, a 19.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Adjusted for inflation, real wages increased by 10.9%, according to data from the National Statistics Committee. The wage growth rates were recorded across all sectors of the economy, reflecting the overall strengthening of the population's labor income.

The most significant increases in average monthly wages were observed:

  • in real estate transactions – by 38.9%;
  • in construction – by 36.8%;
  • in administrative and support activities – by 30.0%;
  • in professional, scientific, and technical activities – by 28.6%;
  • in healthcare and social services – by 28.3%;
  • In the hotel and restaurant industry – by 25.5%;
  • In public administration, defense, and social security – by 25.8%;
  • In financial intermediation and insurance – by 20.3%;
  • In other services – by 21.6%;
  • In mining – by 13.9%.

Thus, wage growth in the country remains robust and covers all key sectors of the economy.
