Bishkek, Aug 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The authorized capital of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund was increased from $25 million to $100 million.
According to the economy ministry, the latest capital increase took place in June of this year. As of the end of the second quarter of 2026, the amount of actually paid-in capital reached $63.82 million.
To date, the fund has approved 11 investment projects worth a total of $76.67 million. Additionally, 37 projects totaling over $204 million are under consideration.
The projects being implemented and under consideration cover sectors such as energy, housing construction, textiles, healthcare, and construction materials production.
Furthermore, during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Kyrgyzstan, it was agreed to increase the fund's authorized capital to $200 million.
This decision is expected to expand funding for joint investment projects, support entrepreneurship, and attract Azerbaijani investment to the Kyrgyz economy.
