Bishkek, March 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Ministry of Transport and Communications reported on the progress of the Balykchy-Bokonbaevo-Karakol highway reconstruction project, a total length of 141.6 km.
According to the ministry, construction work is currently underway on the section from km 0 to km 25. This section of the road is scheduled to be commissioned in near future.
As for the remaining section of the road, from 25 to 141.6 km, construction is planned for full completion this year, according to the department.
Therefore, the Balykchy-Bokonbaevo-Karakol highway reconstruction is scheduled for 2026.
