Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting between Aibek Dzhunushaliev and the Russian delegation headed by State Duma deputy Sergei Kolunov took place in Bishkek on Monday.
The Bishkek Mayor's Office said that the issues of developing bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Bishkek and Russia were discussed at the meeting, in particular the implementation of a number of projects for the development of the city's infrastructure.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed gratitude for the conversation and hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
To date, the Bishkek Mayor's Office has worked out the following bilateral documents with Russian cities:
Agreements on the establishment of sister city relations:
- Chelyabinsk - June 15, 2018;
- Yekaterinburg - December 8, 2022;
- Ufa - July 13, 2017.
Agreements on establishing partnership relations:
- Chelyabinsk Region – July 20, 2017;
- Saint Petersburg – November 24, 2015;
- Kazan – September 3, 1998;
- Moscow – July 5, 2017;
- Miass – September 7, 1993.
