Bishkek, June 17, 2026 /Kabar/. 12th International Day of Yoga will be held in Bishkek on June 21 near the Kurmanjan Datka monument, the Bishkek City Hall informs.
The event is being jointly organized by the Bishkek City Hall and the Indian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
The event begins at 7:00 PM. Over 400 people are expected to attend. Admission is free.
Yoga is an ancient Indian tradition embodying the unity of body and soul. It provides a holistic approach to health and well-being and is currently enjoying popularity worldwide.
International Day of Yoga was established by the UN General Assembly in 2014 at the initiative of the Government of India. Since then, it has been celebrated annually around the world as a symbol of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
