Bishkek, April 17.04.26 /Kabar/. Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev held a series of meetings with leaders of leading US technology corporations to discuss the country's digital development prospects within the framework of the IMF and World Bank Group spring meetings.
At a meeting with NVIDIA Vice President for Global Artificial Intelligence Initiatives Calista Redmond, the main areas of application of NVIDIA technologies in Kyrgyzstan were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of the state language and the expansion of high-performance infrastructure for processing big data.
Adylbek Kasymaliev officially invited Calista Redmond to visit Kyrgyzstan.
“We look forward to welcoming you to Bishkek, where you can see our digital potential for yourself. This will allow us to discuss the prospects for cooperation in more detail and identify specific practical steps for implementing joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence in the country,” the chairman.
In turn, Calista Redmond expressed great interest in developing the partnership and outlined Kyrgyzstan’s ambitious digital agenda.
This was followed by a meeting with Josh Pitcock, Senior Vice President for Government Relations at ORACLE Corporation. The parties discussed the possibilities of introducing cloud technologies and modern data management systems in the public sector.
Adylbek Kasymaliev introduced the country’s achievements and noted that Kyrgyzstan has made significant progress in digital transformation.
"Kyrgyzstan rose to 78th place in the UN e-government ranking and was the first in the region to adopt a digital code. Our digital foundation is Tunduk platform, which allows you to receive more than 170 government services online. The system connects all government agencies and a number of commercial organizations, creating the opportunity for citizens to receive government services in real time," he said.
ORACLE representatives highly appreciated the level of digital maturity of Kyrgyzstan and expressed their readiness to consider the possibility of offering advanced cloud solutions to strengthen the country's state IT infrastructure.
As a result of the meetings, the parties agreed to continue an active dialogue in order to move from discussion to the practical implementation of the established initiatives.
