Bishkek, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. The "Caravan of Unity," organized as part of the 6th World Nomad Games, has arrived from Batken oblast to Osh oblast.
The 40-day march began on July 25 in Razzakov city. The participants were ceremoniously greeted in Kyzyl-Kiya, where they were seen off on their journey by local government representatives and residents of the region.
The 30 horsemen, representing the Leilek, Batken, and Kadamjai districts, were greeted at the border of Batken oblast deputy governor Maksatay Karimberdiyeva, Kadamjai district Akim Bolot Bayake Uulu, Kyzyl-Kiya Mayor Bakytbek Koshaliev, and other officials.
The "Caravan of Unity" will encompass all 40 districts of Kyrgyzstan and bring together over 400 participants. The project aims to strengthen national unity, preserve cultural heritage, and develop interregional cooperation.
The key feature of the project will be the symbolic collection of spring water from each district of the country. The caravan will deliver the water through all regions of Kyrgyzstan, and then, as part of the cultural program of the 6th World Nomad Games in Issyk-Kul region, all the water will be combined in a single cauldron during the "40 Uuks - One Tunduk" ceremony. This ritual symbolizes the unity, cohesion, and integrity of the country.
The caravan's route passes through all regions of the republic. It will arrive in Balykchy city in the Issyk-Kul region on August 26, and a welcoming ceremony will take place on August 27. On August 28-29, as part of international cultural events, the water collected in all 40 districts of Kyrgyzstan will be distributed.
