Bishkek, July 3, 2026 /Kabar/. On July 3, a farewell ceremony was held in Naryn Oblast for the "Caravan of Unity," organized in preparation for the 6th World Nomad Games.
Naryn oblast governor Nurbek Satarov attended the event, wishing the participants a safe journey and presenting the caravan with clean spring water collected in Naryn.
Speaking at the ceremony, the regional governor emphasized that the "Caravan of Unity" unites all regions of Kyrgyzstan with a common goal and symbolizes national unity. He noted that the water donated by the Naryn region represents the pure intentions, unity, and well-being of the region's residents.
Water from all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan will be collected in a single vessel as a symbol of unity, cohesion, and shared national values.
The "Caravan of Unity" project aims to promote the cultural heritage of Kyrgyz people, preserve the traditions of nomadic civilization, and strengthen national unity.
The World Nomad Games is an international cultural and sporting event first held in 2014 at the initiative of Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan is the author of the concept and initiator of the Games, which aim to preserve, develop, and promote ethnic sports and the traditional culture of nomadic people of the world.
