Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2025. /Kabar/. Currently, approximately 7,000 state-financed apartments are being built throughout the republic, Myrzagul Sardarbekova, head of Chui regional office of State Mortgage Company told Birinchi Radio.
According to her, active construction is underway in all regions of the country. We are working within the framework of My Home program. Construction is particularly active in Bishkek, as the capital city faces high internal migration. Therefore, demand in Bishkek and the Chui region is significantly higher. However, there are opportunities for those working in Bishkek to obtain housing in the regions as well, Sardarbekova noted. She also added that the buildings being built by the company are connected to centralized electricity, water, and sewer systems, and most buildings are heated by their own boilers.
More than 60,000 people are on the housing waiting list across the republic, she concluded.
