Bishkek, May 3, 2026. /Kabar/. During his working visit, Deputy Cabinet head Ulan Mamatkanov inspected a number of social facilities. Specifically, he visited the Issyk-Kul Industrial and Pedagogical College in Balykchy. The educational process at the college is organized using modern technologies, including digital platforms, interactive teaching methods, and a practice-oriented approach.
Ulan Mamatkanov then toured the Ak-Suu Rehabilitation Department of the Issyk-Kul Regional United Hospital, which has 100 beds. It treats 2,400-2,500 patients annually, of which approximately 1,700 are children with cerebral palsy. Construction of new buildings and a major renovation of the main building will begin in 2026.
He also inspected the Ak-Suu Psychoneurological Social Institution for Women, where he reviewed the living and treatment conditions of patients. Following the inspection, a number of instructions were issued.
In Karakol, Deputy Cabinet head Ulan Mamatkanov visited Issyk-Kul State University named after K. Tynystanov, where he inspected the renovation work and educational activities. The university has over 6,000 students, with 17 departments and over 250 faculty members providing education.
Following the working visit, relevant government agencies were given a number of instructions, including ensuring the timely implementation of projects to modernize healthcare and education facilities, as well as strengthening oversight of the quality and timing of construction and renovation work. Particular attention was given to improving the accessibility of medical services, developing rehabilitation infrastructure, and creating modern educational conditions.
