Bishkek, May 15, 2026 /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiyev held a series of bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations from partner countries on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2026." This was reported by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During talks with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev raised a wide range of current issues of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of previously reached agreements.
Daniyar Amangeldiev noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of interaction, emphasizing that relations between the countries are developing on a solid foundation of friendship, good-neighborliness, and a comprehensive strategic partnership. "We are actively promoting joint projects in the trade, economic, investment, energy, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. Of particular importance is the development of interregional cooperation, which is becoming a driver of our economic ties. The agreements enshrined in the relevant roadmaps are being successfully implemented," he said.
The parties discussed in detail issues of energy, agriculture, business development, and the implementation of joint projects, confirming their intention to maintain a high pace of contacts at all levels.
Daniyar Amangeldiev also met with an Afghan delegation led by Minister of Higher Education Neda Mohammad Nadeem on the sidelines of the forum. During the meeting, the parties discussed humanitarian cooperation and collaboration in the educational sector. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint initiatives. The Afghan side expressed interest in exchanging experience in science and higher education.
At the end of the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman confirmed the country's readiness for constructive dialogue in all areas of mutual interest.
