Bishkek, April 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, April 15, during working visit to Osh region, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov reviewed development plans for Nookat district.
The head of state was presented with information on the district's socioeconomic development indicators. Akim Daniyar Sheishekanov noted that last year, 11 social facilities were built, 128.5 km of roads were constructed and repaired, and five villages and one town were provided with clean drinking water.
Construction of 19 more social facilities, including schools, kindergartens, gyms, and first aid stations, is planned for this year.
Furthermore, the Kurak-Tektir-2 small hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 600 kW has been launched. Construction of the Nookat-1 and Nookat-2 hydroelectric power stations, each with a capacity of 7.93 MW, is currently ongoing.
Twelve large enterprises are also scheduled to open, including brick and asphalt factories, a sewing workshop, and a modern warehouse for storing fruits and vegetables.
