Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. On September 22, Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, participated in the 7th Caspian Business Forum in New York.
The minister noted that the Middle Corridor is a vital economic route connecting Asia and Europe, and emphasized that its development fosters trade expansion, investment attraction, and the strengthening of regional ties.
Particular attention was paid to the development of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, its integration with other transport routes, the streamlining of border and customs procedures, and the digitalization of trade processes.
Bakyt Sydykov emphasized the need to view the Middle Corridor not merely as a transit route, but as a key platform for securing investments, new technologies, and sustainable economic growth.
