Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts that Kyrgyzstan's GDP will increase to 10.3% by the end of 2025. These data are presented in its latest macroeconomic review. The data indicate that the Kyrgyz economy continues to maintain high growth rates.

According to analysts, high consumption remains one of the growth drivers, supported by lending activity in the banking services market. From January to October of this year, lending by financial institutions increased by 52%. This figure was half that in the same period of 2024.

"Retail sales grew by 11.8%, and investments by 19.9%. This reflects the continued strong momentum of both consumer and investment demand," the EDB notes.
