Eldik Bank, Kyrgyzstan Insurance Company cooperate in Islamic insurance

Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2025 /Kabar/. Eldik Bank and Kyrgyzstan Insurance Company have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the field of Islamic insurance.

As part of the partnership, citizens of the country will have the opportunity to be insured under the Takaful system, which complies with Sharia, without elements of riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty) and maysir (gambling).

Eldik Bank representatives noted that the launch of Takaful product reflects the bank's efforts to expand its range of fair financial products and meet the needs of clients interested in financing in accordance with Islamic principles.

We believe that cooperation with Kyrgyzstan Insurance Company on Takaful product will give a strong impetus to the development of Islamic finance in our region. We hope that this cooperation will become tool of security and trust for our clients, said Ester Aimukambetov, Eldik Bank head of the Islamic Window.

The parties plan to develop the partnership in order to expand joint offers to clients and strengthen their influence in the Islamic financial services segment.
