Bishkek, Aug. 21, 2025 /Kabar/. Two Russian climbers were rescued from Baichechekey peak in the Ala-Archa gorg of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the report, yesterday, August 20, two citizens of the Russian Federation, who climbed to the top of Baichechekey along the Ilyushinka 4b route in the Alamudun district of the Chui region, got lost in the dark while descending and were forced to spend the night in the mountains.
Since the said peak is located at an altitude of 4515 meters above sea level, an AIRBUS H125 helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic was called in for the rescue. At 6:55 a.m. the climbers were lifted from the summit and at 7:19 a.m. they were delivered to Bishkek. Medical personnel from the Emergency Medicine Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided them with first aid in a timely manner.
