Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2026 /Kabar/. A car carrying four people plunged off a cliff into the Alamedin River in the Teplie Klyuchi recreation area in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Chui Region Main Department of Internal Affairs, on February 15, 2026, at approximately 3:30 PM, on the 15th kilometer of the Bishkek-Teplye Klyuchi highway, the driver of a Hyundai Sonata, lost control of the vehicle, drove off the roadway, and plunged into the Alamedin River. As a result, the driver and his passengers—two Asian women, approximately 20-25 years old—died at the scene from their injuries.
One passenger is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Chui Regional Hospital with various injuries.
The identities of the two deceased women are currently being established.
