Bishkek, July 16, 2025. /Kabar/. Employment services employed 17% more unemployed people in 2025 than last year, the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration reported.
According to their information, since the beginning of the year, 72,804 people have applied to the employment assistance departments of the territorial administrations of the ministry, including 36,734 women.
The topics of the appeals were issues of employment assistance, labor legislation, short-term vocational training and career guidance.
With the assistance of employment departments, 7,630 unemployed people (4,570 women) were employed, which is 17% more than last year.
5,738 people (2,866 women) were sent to paid public works, which is also 17% higher than in 2024. They participated in the improvement of territories, repair of schools and kindergartens, cleaning of pastures and irrigation ditches.
In order to increase competitiveness in the labor market, 3,824 people (2,449 women) underwent vocational training. About 62% of them found work in their specialty.
Since the beginning of the year, 40,404 people (16,599 unemployed and 23,805 graduates) have received consultations at the centers, who were assisted in making informed decisions when choosing a profession.
