Foreign trade volume decreases by 8.3% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of the Kyrgyzstan as of January-September 2025 amounted to USD 11.27 billion, which is 8.3% less than in the same period in 2024. These data were released by the National Statistical Committee. During the reporting period, exports decreased by 25.7%, and imports by 3%.

The volume of mutual trade with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to USD 3.85 billion, which is 5.3% less than in the previous year.

The largest share of Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover within the EAEU was accounted by:

Russia - 65.8%,

Kazakhstan - 31.8%.

According to the agency, the decline in these figures is due to a slowdown in export activity and changes in external price conditions on the global market.
