Highest average income in Kyrgyzstan concentrates in financial sector

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2026 /Kabar/. According to the National Statistical Committee, the highest average incomes in Kyrgyzstan are in the financial sector – over 67,000 soms. According to Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, in industry, the figure is close to this level, at around 66,000 soms, and in construction, over 57,000 soms.

However, in socially significant sectors, the level of pay is significantly lower. The average salary in education is approximately 27,000 soms, in healthcare it's approximately 28,000 soms, and in the service sector it's approximately 29,000 soms. This income gap directly impacts career choices and increases the migration of workers to higher-paying sectors.
