Bishkek, Jan.15, 2026 /Kabar/. In 2025, Kyrgyzstan's diplomatic presence expanded significantly. The first Kyrgyz embassy was opened in Ethiopia, marking an important step in strengthening the country's presence on the African continent.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev announced that decision had also been made to establish embassy in Egypt. This opens up new strategic prospects for the country in the Middle East and North Africa.
"In 2025, Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations with 13 more countries. Thus, by the end of the year, the Kyrgyz Republic maintains diplomatic relations with 185 countries," the minister noted.
