Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2026 /Kabar/. Patients requiring Gamma Knife treatment will now be able to receive in Kyrgyzstan. Indira Kudaibergenova, Rector of Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy reports.
According to her, the acquisition of the equipment was made possible through funding allocated by President Sadyr Zhaparov.
"Today is a historic day, a Gamma Knife has been delivered to Kyrgyzstan. I would like to thank our President, Sadyr Zhaparov. He allocated the funds for the purchase of the Gamma Knife.
I believe that patients requiring this type of treatment will now be able to receive it right here in their home country," noted Indira Kudaibergenova.
