Holy month of Ramadan in Kyrgyzstan begins on February 19

Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2026. /Kabar/. The Muftiate of Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the start date of the fasting (Orozo). The Muftiate told the agency that in 2026, the holy month of Ramadan will begin on February 19.

Tarawih prayers will be performed in mosques across the country on February 18.

The fast will last 30 days. According to tradition, Muslims abstain from drinking or eating during daylight hours during the month.
