Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2025 /Kabar/. The Ministry of Finance held reviews of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank (WB) portfolios for the third quarter of 2025.
The events were attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Nurlan Akzholov, ADB Country Director for Kyrgyzstan Zheng Wu, World Bank Group Country Director for the Kyrgyz Republic Hugh Riddell, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, and staff from departments implementing projects under the state investment program.
The discussions focused on the current progress of projects financed by ADB and the World Bank, identified challenges, and potential solutions. Particular attention was paid to the timely disbursement of funds, effective project management, and enhancing their socioeconomic impact.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the main goal of the portfolio reviews is a comprehensive assessment of project implementation status, the effective use of attracted investments, and the development of measures to improve their effectiveness.
