Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2026 /Kabar/. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on a working visit.

Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyz Republic, greeted the distinguished guest at Manas International Airport.

Narendra Modi arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the regular meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council, the "SCO Plus" Summit, and the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.

The Indian Prime Minister was presented with a stuffed toy snow leopard, the national symbol of Kyrgyzstan and the official symbol of the 6th World Nomad Games.

Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the SCO is taking place during its anniversary year – the 25th anniversary of the SCO's establishment.
