Bishkek, Oct.15, 2025 /Kabar/. Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan have increased by 5.5%, Nazira Kerimalieva, First Deputy Chairperson of the National Statistics Committee reported.
According to her data, for January–September 2025, the following were recorded across the country:
- Prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 6.4%;
- for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 5.1%;
- for non-food products by 3.3%;
- price for services provided to the population increased by 6.3%.
The increase in consumer prices and tariffs compared to December of last year was observed in all regions of the country, Kerimalieva noted.
The largest price increase 7.5% was recorded in Osh city, due to 10.9% increase in the price of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
The largest increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages was noted in the Chui region - 9.5%, for non-food products - in the Issyk-Kul region (4.8%), and the increase of price for services - in the Talas region (9.3%).
