Bishkek, March 6, 2025. /Kabar/. In 2024, the net inflow of money transfers from individuals amounted to $2.5 billion and increased by 18.6% compared to 2023, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the regulator, the gross inflow of money transfers amounted to $3.0 billion, an increase of 10.5%. The bulk of transfers [93%] came from Russia.
The gross outflow of money transfers from the Kyrgyz Republic for the specified period amounted to $0.4 billion, a decrease of 20.6% compared to the same period in 2023. Money transfers were mainly sent to Russia [83% of the gross outflow].
