Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2025 /Kabar/. Windows and doors in three Naryn kindergartens were replaced as part of the Japanese government's "Grass Roots and Human Security" grant program.
According to the Japanese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, the equipment handover ceremony for the project to improve learning conditions in preschool educational institutions in Naryn oblast took place on November 27, 2025. The event was attended by representatives of the Japanese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Naryn mayor's office, and the leadership of the Naryn regional public organization.
It is noted that, according to the grant contract signed on January 18, 2023, as part of this project, windows and doors were installed in Naryn kindergartens No. 2 "Cheburashka," No. 14 "Altyn Balalyk," and No. 15 "Baktyluu Balalyk," for total of $75,019.
Representatives of the Naryn mayor's office, the Naryn regional public organization, and the directors of the preschools expressed gratitude for the assistance provided, emphasizing that, thanks to the project, the interiors of the preschools have become much warmer and more comfortable, which is very important for the Naryn Region, particularly during the winter.
In turn, Sanno Akira, Second Secretary of the Japanese Embassy, noted that they will continue to support social projects in both healthcare and education.
