Bishkek, March 16, 2026. /Kabar/. As part of the national "Jashyl Muras"(Green heritage) campaign, large-scale landscaping and forest restoration work has been carried out in specially protected natural areas. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, in 2025:
- State Nature Parks (SNPs) planted 16,450 forest seedlings on an area of 23.79 hectares;
- Tenants of SNPs planted 8,786 seedlings on an area of 15.3 hectares for landscaping purposes.
The total number of seedlings grown was 25,236, covering an area of 39.09 hectares.
Furthermore, according to the autumn 2025 inventory, 359,316 seedlings and saplings are being grown in nature park nurseries across an area of 7.1 hectares. 106,825 were deemed fully suitable for planting.
The agency notes that these measures are aimed at strengthening environmental safety, preserving biodiversity, and restoring Kyrgyzstan's natural ecosystems.
