Bishkek, April 12, 2026. /Kabar/. As part of his working visit to Washington, DC, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev will attend the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers' press service, talks are planned during the visit with World Bank senior management, including Anna Bjerde, Managing Director for Operations, and Antonella Bassani, Vice President for the Europe and Central Asia Region.
The parties will discuss the implementation of the World Bank's current project portfolio in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the advancement of the strategic Kambarata-1 Hydro Power Plant (HPP), which is crucial for the region's energy independence.
Furthermore, to advance the Kyrgyz Republic's digital agenda, Kasymaliev will hold a series of meetings with the leadership of leading global technology corporations, including Meta, Oracle, NVIDIA, and SpaceX.
The talks will focus on the implementation of advanced solutions in public administration, the development of artificial intelligence, and expanding access to modern information technology in the country.
During his visit, bilateral consultations will be held with the Administration of US President Donald Trump.
