Bishkek, July 11, 2025. /Kabar/. The KYMYZ-FEST-2025 festival was held today in Chui region — a large-scale cultural event dedicated to kumys (mare’s milk), Kyrgyz hospitality and the country's ethnocultural heritage.

The event was attended by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Chui Region Kanat Dzhumagaziev, Hero of Kyrgyzstan Apas Dzhumagulov, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Tagaev and others.

The festival program included the choreographic composition "Kymyz", performances by akyns, as well as exhibitions of artisans, diasporas and districts of the region.

A concert and award ceremony for the winners of the "Kemenger" competition, sports competitions and the best kumys producers were also held.

"The festival has become a unique platform for promoting cultural values, interethnic unity and support for domestic producers," the Plenipotentiary Representative noted.
