Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is experiencing a significant increase in women's participation in e-commerce, Nargiza Mendekeeva, Director for Regional Development of Women in Tech Kyrgyzstan stated during a WIFI DX mentor training for trainers and women entrepreneurs. According to her, the program covers key aspects of digital technologies, including cybersecurity, managing social media pages, and working with online platforms to promote goods and services.
“The program includes the use of platforms and marketplaces for doing business. Amazon and TikTok Shop are actively used worldwide, while in the CIS countries, Wildberries and Ozon are popular. The trainers explain which tools help increase brand awareness and how to correctly position a product so that it is identified correctly. And, of course, it is important to consider digital risks, because everything we do online leaves a trace,” Mendekeeva noted.
She added that the training is conducted by specialists from the Pacific Asian Training Center, who arrived from Indonesia.
The event aims to develop women's digital competencies, expand their opportunities in online entrepreneurship, and create a sustainable ecosystem for women's businesses in Kyrgyzstan.
