Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2026. /Kabar/. First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev participated in the 62nd Munich Security Conference as part of his working visit to Germany.

As part of the event, Daniyar Amangeldiev held a number of bilateral meetings and negotiations with the following people:

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Italy, Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani;

Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlic-Radman;

Serbian Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starovic;

US President's Special Representative for Global Partnership Paolo Zampolli;

EU Special Representative for Sanctions David O'Sullivan;

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde;

EU Commissioner for International Partnership Josef Sikela;

Former OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid.

During the meetings, issues of cooperation in the field of sanctions were discussed, as well as the promotion of Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.
