Bishkek, June 17, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev visited the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent as part of a working visit to Uzbekistan.
A tour of the unique international scientific and educational complex took place on the eve of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The heads of government of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan were accompanied by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
The guests were presented with a collection of manuscripts, artifacts, and unique exhibits reflecting the centuries-long contribution of the peoples of Central Asia to the development of Islamic science, culture, and education. They also visited the Hall of the Holy Quran.
The center brings together the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan's pre-Islamic and Islamic periods, as well as modern achievements in science, education, and digital technology. Its activities are aimed at studying, preserving, and promoting the region's contribution to the development of world civilization.
During the tour, the important role of the Center for Islamic Civilization as a scientific, educational, and cultural institution, bringing together historical sources, spiritual heritage, and contemporary research, was emphasized.
Following the event, the chairman signed the Book of Distinguished Guests of the Center for Islamic Civilization.
