Bishkek, May 18, 2026. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev held a staff meeting at the presidential administration.
The chairman noted that, according to preliminary estimates, the gross domestic product for January-April 2026 amounted to 602.8 billion soms, representing a 12.4% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Growth in the construction sector was 72.8%, in services 7.2%, in agriculture 3.0%, and in industry 14.7%.
"The volume of fixed capital investment amounted to 128.6 billion soms, an increase of 69.7%. The increase in fixed capital investment compared to the same period in 2025 was driven by a 1.6-fold increase in domestic funding sources and a 2.4-fold increase in external sources," noted Adylbek Kasymaliev, emphasizing the need to maintain this pace until the end of the year.
Furthermore, three reforms were launched during the staff meeting as part of government accelerators. These include:
- Expanding access to state pensions for Kyrgyz migrant workers working in the informal sector abroad;
- Simplifying the licensing process for medical and pharmaceutical activities;
- Digitalizing preventive examinations and student illness registration in educational institutions.
Furthermore, the automated "Investments" information system and the "Syilyk" information system are currently being developed and implemented to fully digitize awards processes.
Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev gave a number of instructions to the relevant government agencies to implement these reforms within 100 days and deliver tangible results.
