Bishkek, April 27, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held a working meeting on international sanctions.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of government agencies and relevant departments participated in the meeting. They discuss the current situation, risks, and possible consequences of the current restrictions, and proposals for their gradual lifting were developed.

Government agencies informed the Cabinet of Ministers of ongoing measures to comply with international obligations, increase the transparency of foreign economic activity, and strengthen controls over export and import operations.

Particular attention was paid to Kyrgyzstan's ongoing dialogue with Western partners on sanctions issues.

Following the meeting, relevant instructions were issued to government agencies aimed at minimizing negative consequences and developing comprehensive measures to remove Kyrgyz companies from Western sanctions lists.
