Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers discussed the launch of Tamchy SFIT project

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2025. /Kabar/. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers held meeting on the implementation of the Law "on Tamchy special financial investment territory with special legal regime and status."

This law was adopted to implement the Presidential Decree "On measures to establish a special investment territory with special legal regime and independent international center for dispute resolution under English law in the Issyk-Kul Region." Roadmap for the development of bylaws was approved for the practical implementation of the document.

During the meeting, participants discussed measures to accelerate the law's implementation, identified emerging issues, and developed joint approaches to address them. Following the meeting, relevant protocol instructions were issued to the responsible government agencies.

Furthermore, Kyrgyz Justice Minister Ayaz Baetov, together with English law consultants, presented a presentation on the establishment of an independent international dispute resolution center in Kyrgyzstan. The institution's operating procedures, objectives, and development prospects were discussed.

The creation of the Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory aims to enhance Kyrgyzstan's investment attractiveness and create favorable legal, financial, and institutional conditions for investors, including foreign ones. The project is intended to be an important step in the development of the country's modern investment infrastructure.
