Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2025. /Kabar/. Central Election Commission Chairman Tynchtyk Shainazarov addressed the people of Kyrgyzstan:

"Dear people of Kyrgyzstan!

On November 30, elections to the Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the 8th convocation were held. I would like to emphasize that organization was as transparent as possible and in accordance with the law. The state did not use administrative resources to support or hinder any candidate; on the contrary, we demanded that civil servants completely non-interference in campaigning. For the first time in Kyrgyzstan, a new system, remote voting was successfully implemented, ensuring every voter had the opportunity to participate. Voting concluded at 8:00 PM, and preliminary results were published at 8:01 PM. The entire process was broadcast live under the joint supervision of the public, ensuring its complete transparency.

However, despite all efforts to ensure transparency, we cannot ignore incoming information and video footage of vote-buying and vote-selling, as well as the involvement of individual candidates. We see that such information is being actively disseminated on social media. Much of this material is already in the possession of the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We are promptly collecting some information from open sources, and the commission is immediately beginning to verify it.

We are hearing calls for swift action on social media and understand your concern. The Central Election Commission will carefully review all materials received. Within 2-3 days, all violations at polling stations, including the hotly debated 13th District, will be reviewed, and decisions will be made in strict accordance with the law. Our priority is to make fair and informed decisions to maintain confidence in the electoral system and prevent damage to the state's reputation.

Until then, we ask you to remain calm and refrain from jumping to conclusions."
