Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, the Kyrgyz-Chinese Investment Business Forum "Kyrgyzstan-China: Path to Sustainable Development and Shared Prosperity" is taking place at the Ala-Archa State Residence.
The large-scale event brought together approximately 300 participants, including representatives of government agencies, development institutions, financial institutions, and business communities from both countries.
The key topics of discussion were deepening investment cooperation, industrial cooperation, localization of production, and the development of transport, logistics, and energy infrastructure.
Special attention is given to digitalization and the implementation of advanced green technologies.
The business program includes a series of bilateral B2B meetings, where entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan and China will present promising projects and discuss partnership options and mechanisms for implementing joint initiatives.
The forum will culminate in the signing of a package of investment agreements, memorandums, and commercial contracts.
The business forum is being held ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Kyrgyzstan.
