Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2026. /Kabar/. Today's agreements will give new impetus to the development of Kyrgyz-Chinese strategic partnership, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev told media.
According to him, during the talks between President Sadyr Zhaparov and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, the parties confirmed their interest in strengthening good-neighborly, friendly and mutually beneficial relations.
“We assess the results of the talks as successful.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized mutual support and adherence to the basic principles of bilateral relations.
We highly appreciate the Chinese side’s consistent support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and socio-economic development of our country. In turn, the Kyrgyz side also supports the Chinese side’s “One China” principle.
As a result of the meeting of the heads of state, the Kyrgyz Republic and the People’s Republic of China have raised the strategic partnership to a high-quality level of development.
This reflects the high level of political trust and confidence between the parties and their readiness to further deepen cooperation in a wide range of areas, including political, trade, economic and investment cooperation, infrastructure, energy, humanitarian ties, as well as interaction at international and regional platforms.
Particular attention was paid to the practical development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, agriculture and humanitarian ties.
The Kyrgyz side expressed their interest in expanding the access of products to the Chinese market, attracting investments and implementing joint projects that contribute to the sustainable economic development of our country.
As a result of the meeting, the two sides signed more than 30 bilateral documents aimed at further strengthening and developing cooperation in a wide range of areas.
The most important of them is the Agreement on Eternal Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China. A joint declaration was adopted on the high-quality development of an all-inclusive strategic partnership in the new era between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China.
We highly value friendly relations with the People's Republic of China and confirm that the Kyrgyz Republic is ready to continue active interaction in all areas of mutual interest.
We believe that the agreements reached today will give new impetus to the development of the Kyrgyz-Chinese strategic partnership," the foreign minister noted.
