Bishkek, March 12, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Imangaziev announced at a session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) that signing agreements with other countries on visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic and service passports is part of the country's foreign policy efforts.

He emphasized that progress has already been made with Serbia; Kyrgyz citizens can now visit that country visa-free.

Imangaziev added that negotiations are underway with China to provide similar opportunities for Kyrgyz citizens.

According to him, visa facilitation depends not only on diplomatic efforts but also on the country's economic performance, security issues, and other international criteria.

The deputy minister noted that Kyrgyzstan's passport meets international security standards and virtually eliminates the possibility of counterfeiting, which also increases its credibility internationally.
