Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2025 /Kabar/. Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan Akihisa Nagashima in Bishkek.
The press service of the Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, as well as the preparation of the first Summit of the Dialogue "Central Asia + Japan".
Kulubaev emphasized the importance of further implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Japan in November 2023. Particular attention was paid to issues of trade and economic cooperation, attracting investment, as well as maintaining bilateral contacts at the high and highest levels.
Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan Nagashima noted the importance of intensifying trade and economic cooperation and regular political contacts, expressing the readiness of the Japanese side for close cooperation.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on issues on the regional and international agenda.
