Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2026 /Kabar/. Due to the worsening military and political situation in the Middle East and the ongoing risks of further escalation of the conflict, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has called on its citizens to leave the region as soon as possible.
The ministry has advised Kyrgyz citizens currently in Middle Eastern countries to:
exercise particular caution;
closely monitor official communications from government agencies;
Comply with local authorities' requirements and recommendations;
Do not disseminate unverified information;
Avoid crowded places unless absolutely necessary;
Check flight status in advance when planning trips;
Avoid military and strategic facilities.
Furthermore, for personal safety, citizens in countries in the region with a high level of military risk are advised to leave as soon as possible until the situation stabilizes, and to temporarily refrain from traveling to these countries.
