Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry urges citizens to refrain from traveling to Nepal due to protests

Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2025 /Kabar/. In connection with the protests taking place in a number of areas of Nepal, including the capital Kathmandu, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry recommends the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, as well as tourists temporarily staying in Nepal, to refrain from visiting crowded places and from participating in any mass events in order to ensure personal safety.

In addition, citizens planning trips to Nepal are strongly advised to take into account the current socio-political situation in the country and, if possible, refrain from unnecessary trips.
