Kyrgyz government continues supporting SMEs, 20 bln soms provided

Bishkek, June 25, 2026. /Kabar/. In the first half of this year, Kyrgyz government allocates 20 billion soms to support small and medium-sized businesses in Kyrgyzstan. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev informs at the SCO Business & Industry Expo Kyrgyzstan 2026 international exhibition.

First Deputy Chairman noted that credit lines for more accessible financial resources have now been opened in almost all state-owned banks, under which the government has committed to subsidizing interest rates.

"Furthermore, our joint funds and guarantee institution have provided a strong impetus for the development of the industrial sector, particularly in electricity generation. A number of large and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants and solar power stations have been launched thanks to the package of measures implemented by the government. Therefore, we once again confirm readiness to work hand in hand with businesses and create favorable conditions," emphasized Daniyar Amangeldiev.
