Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2025 /Kabar/. Cooperation with Russia in the healthcare sector and further expansion of this cooperation are of strategic importance for Kyrgyzstan, the Minister of Health Erkin Checheibaev at the ceremony of handing over mobile pneumoconiosis laboratories to Kyrgyzstan by Russia.
According to the Minister, Russia is Kyrgyzstan's main partner in biological safety issues.
“Through the mobile laboratories delivered today and previous joint projects, we have been effectively controlling natural outbreaks of influenza and ensuring sanitary and epidemiological stability. Such equipment will strengthen our country's ability to respond quickly and appropriately to various threats,” Checheibaev said.
