Bishkek, March 13, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Health Damir Osmonov visited with the infrastructure and construction progress of the General Medical Practice Center in Kemin district, ministry reports.

The minister saw the construction of a new four-story maternity hospital for 50 beds. Currently, the third floor of the building is being erected, and monolithic works are underway. The new facility will be equipped with modern operating rooms, delivery rooms, and a pediatric pathology department.

In order to address the staff shortage, the building of the former infectious diseases department is being converted into an 8-apartment dormitory. The cost of the project, financed by the Kemin District Development Fund, is 18 million soms.
The minister toured the laboratory, equipped with modern equipment purchased through JICA. All tests are digitized, and the results are automatically entered into the patient's electronic card in the Sanarip clinic system.
The center's intensive care and X-ray rooms are equipped with new digital devices, including artificial lung ventilation equipment.

Damir Osmonov also instructed to conduct an additional study of the old maternity hospital building and determine the feasibility of its major renovation. During the meeting with the center's management, it was noted that the main problem was the lack of staff, and work to improve social conditions would continue to solve it.
