Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. Domestic honey producers are expanding production, improving product quality, and promoting Kyrgyz honey in foreign markets, Leon Detyuk, a producer from the company Kyrgyz Honey told Kabar.
According to Detyuk, the company has been active in the beekeeping sector since 2016. With support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the enterprise received financial and expert assistance, purchased modern equipment, obtained the necessary certifications, and had its staff participate in five specialized training sessions.
The entrepreneur noted that the knowledge gained helped streamline business processes and formulate a strategy for the company's future development.
Future plans include further expanding production, increasing sales volumes, and promoting Kyrgyz honey as a national product in international markets.
