Bishkek, March 23, 2025 /Kabar/. More than 20 representatives of Kyrgyzstan's leading media outlets arrived in Tajikistan for a five-day familiarization visit. The delegation included correspondents from the Kabar news agency, NTRK, ElTR, Channel 7, as well as Kaktus.media, Super.kg, Tazabek, Nomad TV, and Region TV.
On their first day in Dushanbe, the Kyrgyz journalists took part in celebrations marking the Nooruz holiday. Rich program has been prepared for guests at the capital's Bogi Iram Park: national rituals, traditional games, and a festive concert. According to the organizers, such large-scale celebrations are held throughout the country and last for 15 days.
During the rest of the trip, the journalists will continue to explore key cultural sites, Tajikistan's socioeconomic achievements, and the work of local newsrooms.
It is worth noting that the press tour program is being implemented within the framework of agreements reached during President Sadyr Zhaparov's state visit to Tajikistan on July 8–9, 2025. At that time, the two leaders agreed to organize reciprocal trips to exchange experiences between media professionals. A delegation of Tajik journalists previously visited Kyrgyzstan on a similar visit.
