Bishkek, March 17, 2026 /Kabar/. "Bala Yrysy" benefit (Child's wealth) is set at 1,200 soms. This benefit will be issued to citizens of Kyrgyzstan and children of persons with Kairylman status. Adel Zhomartova, chief specialist of the state benefits department at the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration told Kabar.
According to the specialist, this benefit will be paid regardless of the family's socioeconomic status. "Payments for those living in high-mountain regions will be made taking into account the regional coefficient," she said.
Another condition is that the child must live with the mother. The parents must not be migrating.
The main documents required to receive the benefit are:
- the mother's passport and the child's birth certificate;
- a PIN is required.
It is noted that to receive the benefit, one must submit an application to the district offices of the Ministry of Labor.
As a reminder, in early March, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree introducing a new monthly state benefit for all children under three years of age – "Bala Yrysy."
